Award winning Director ROB FITZ began his 17 year career in the film business as a makeup and FX artist and continues to work in the industry. He most recently directed an independent thriller “Blessid” starring Rachel Kerbs and Produced by screenwriter Bob Heske.
Rob Fitz’s first feature “God of Vampires” earned official selection in a dozen film festivals and won two awards. It won “Director’s Choice” award at the 2007 Shockerfest International film festival and “Best Action Film” at the Fright Night Film Festival 2010. “God of Vampires” went on to be released nationally and internationally in the UK, Spain, and Singapore to name a few. Prior to directing feature films, Rob directed several music videos for metal bands “Meliah Rage” and “Nuclear Assault”. In addition to this he directed several short films one of which (“Lost Face”) was chosen to play in Brussels International Festival of Fantastic Film in 1994 right out of film school at the School of Visual Arts in NY.
Director Rob Fitz has built his career up from the bottom with a foundation of only blood, sweat, and passion, and continues to strive to make films by any means available.
